On the back, the real history of the cocktail:
Invented in 2002 by Douglas Ankrah at the Townhouse bar in London. He wanted a drink that was pure indulgence — sexy, fun and provocative. He first called it the Maverick Martini, but the name didn't capture its personality. The signature is the shot of prosecco on the side.
The side glass arrived untouched; the bartender said it goes in, and showed how.
